JOB TITLE: Equipment and Logistics Specialist

SUMMARY
The Equipment and Logistics Specialist plans
equipment needs for drilling projects, coordinates resources, arranges for and
transports equipment to job sites, and performs project cost estimating. This
position requires an unrestricted Class A CDL. The Equipment and Logistics
Specialist will coordinate with clients to meet the commitments the firm has
made to the client, ensure that the projects are technically sound, and that
they are completed on time and within budget.
In addition, the Equipment and Logistics Specialist coordinates
equipment and warehouse functions in order to maintain equipment, driving and
equipment records, parts and supplies.
ESSENTIAL
FUNCTIONS
·
Hold an unrestricted Class A CDL and be able to
assist in the delivery of equipment and supplies to job site
·
Schedule drilling services
·
Coordinate Eagle Drilling operations, safety,
and cleanliness of shop and equipment
·
Coordinate with Drilling Supervisor to ensure
Drillers have needed drilling rigs, equipment, vehicles, and supplies available
for each project or assignment
·
Estimating, proposals, and invoicing
·
Coordinating equipment maintenance and repairs
·
Coordinate inventory control procedures
·
Coordinate vehicle inspection procedures
·
Ensure all equipment maintenance and repairs
are completed in a timely manner

Coordinate routine maintenance
o
Schedule repairs and inspect completed work
o
Create purchase orders for all equipment and
maintenance purchases and rentals
·
Coordinate the organization of and maintain
filing and tracking system (for NDWR NOI cards, well logs, waivers, etc.).
Assist drillers with maintaining NDWR document compliance
·
Assist Drilling Supervisor with monthly
recommendations and quarterly projections regarding equipment
·
Other duties as assigned

The Equipment and Logistics
Specialist will aim to develop and maintain Eagle’s ability to perform
professional drilling services at a high level of technical proficiency. Works
closely with Drilling Supervisor to ensure that services within the program
performed by Eagle are consistent with Eagle’s goals and objectives. Must exhibit maturity, professionalism, and a
willingness to understand and coordinate all services at Eagle. The Equipment and Logistics Specialist will
maintain outstanding relationships with clients, staff, and vendors.
EDUCATION,
KNOWLEDGE, AND SKILLS DESIRED
·
High school diploma or equivalent
·
Unrestricted Class A CDL
·
Experience with PC’s, especially with Microsoft
Word, Excel, and Outlook
·
Exceptional organizational and customer service
skills
·
Two years’ experience with drilling rigs,
equipment, parts, and supplies (preferred, not required)
·
Professional attitude, telephone etiquette, and
appearance
