GENERAL JOB DESCRIPTION
Build GES market share and provide leadership, supervision, and oversight of all aspects of work performed in Northern Nevada region. Utilize existing or develop programs, training, and guidelines to promote the “GES Way” across the region. The Northern Nevada Regional Builder must be proactive about developing systems and methods of sharing personnel and resources within the company primarily by coordinating the efforts of engineers, geologists, inspectors, testers, and managers. This includes assuring that all work conforms to our quality standards, work is completed on schedule, results are communicated on time, and that equipment is properly maintained and supplied.Supervise staff assigned to this region. Remains involved with the development & implementation of company policies. As the Northern Nevada region becomes established, this role will serve as the primary regional leader accountable for business performance, client relationships, staffing balance, and profitability. The Northern Nevada Regional Builder integrates the efforts of all Practice Builder(s) within the region to deliver coordinated, high-quality services while acting as the principal driver of regional growth and market presence. Initially report directly to Company President while establishing the Northern Nevada region. Eventually may report directly to Geotechnical Practice Leader once region is established, properly functioning, and consistently producing acceptable revenue and profit. Work closely with Company President and Geotechnical Practice Leader in developing and executing Northern Nevada Plan. Supports cost-effective operations and adheres to budgetary guidelines.

DESIRED OUTCOMES OR RESULTS
The Northern Nevada Regional Builder will continue to secure and grow GES’ market share in the Northern Nevada region while aligning the goals of the company through general active oversight of staff, client, and deliverables. There will be growth and a healthy work environment within the region, with a safety culture reflected in how work is done every day through good judgment and a shared commitment to safety work practices. Success in this role is demonstrated by sustained regional growth, strong profitability, high client satisfaction, and seamless coordination between Practice Builder(s) and regional operations.
EDUCATION, KNOWLEDGE, AND SKILLS
DESIRED
· B.S. or M.S. in Civil Engineering/ Geotechnical Engineering, Geology, or related field
· P.E., C.E.M., and/or Special Inspector Certifications in Nevada
· 10 years’ experience in Geotechnical Engineering, Construction Material Testing, and/or Environmental Consulting
· Thorough knowledge of business & staff development
· Leadership, communication, and organizational skills
· Consulting background and attitude (i.e., awareness of budgets and client relations)
· Proficient computer skills
